For a pair of empty nesters with a nine-hundred-square-foot one-bedroom dwelling, Leyden Lewis, owner and design director of Brooklyn-based Leyden Lewis Interior Design + Architecture, was able to deliver something grand. “I think everyone wants to utilize their space to maximize the program and be practical without making it crowded,” says Lewis in regard to this apartment, located in a prime location near the Museum of Modern Art.
